David, I just wanted to thank you for the marvellous send-off that you gave Francis on Friday. It was a sad day but uplifting too and a such a fitting tribute to a pretty remarkable human being.
What a great job you did, the day was just so beautifully choreographed.
We were completely blown away by how classy it all was; the casket, the flowers, the beautiful cars and the immaculate, courteous drivers and the stately journey across the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Even the crematorium was lovely.
The whole event was so respectful and dignified and I can never thank you enough for what you did for Francis and the family.

When my Dad passed away you conducted his funeral and you also looked after my uncle when he passed away. Today you have conducted my mum’s funeral. From the first telephone conversation right through to the church and crematorium your professionalism, organisation and attention to detail was impeccable. We almost went to the funeral director our family had used for many years when our dad recently passed away but as we were about to make the call someone recommended David and changing our mind was the best decision we could have made. Dad’s death was sudden and unexpected and it felt so traumatic, we had no idea where to start really but David came to see us that very same evening and made us feel that he’d stay talking all night if that’s what we needed.
From that point on nothing was too much trouble…. David took care of absolutely everything else from the crematorium, the music, the order of services and donations we had at the service, the notice in the T&A, arranging the vicar to come and see us, arranging the flowers, arranging a venue where we all gathered afterwards, so many things … nothing was too much trouble at all, no question was too small…… he took us to register the death which we really weren’t expecting and even that was done with such compassion and we noticed that he planned the route so it didn’t go past dad’s house in case that upset us.
Every single thing that David did or suggested showed such level of thought, consideration, compassion and professionalism. David even asked if we wanted a lock of dads hair, something we’d never have even thought about. Those personal touches meant so much to us and we knew without any doubt at all that dad was getting the same care and respect from him.
I can’t imagine getting a better service from anyone else, and the fact that David didn’t make it feel that he was giving a service at all and we felt that he was part of the family and cared about dad as we did was something we can’t ever thank him enough for. Thank you so much and as my sister Julie said… it felt like you were sent from heaven to help us! I believe that too.

I consider myself lucky to have been recommended to David Nunn
At a sad time it became obvious David is the most compassionate person one could wish to meet.
I lost my parents in quick succession and living 200 miles away David took care of everything
He even came out to meet me on a Sunday to help with my wishes and took control from there, arranging everything, just took the pressure away, whilst communicating at all times.
I cannot recommend David enough, I now consider David as a friend and hope you will consider his services when unfortunately you may require, it will make things easier
