About me
I am a fully qualified funeral director and trained embalmer with over 38 years experience within the funeral service.
Having spent over twenty eight years working for a large corporate funeral business with the last
thirteen years working within the management structure, I was experiencing the pressure of the
increasingly high cost that the company were promoting through the region, I decided it was
time to follow my life long ambition of working for myself in order to offer a more personal,
dignified and caring service to the local community while doing my utmost to make people aware of the rising funeral costs and keep my own costs as low as possible.

My aim is to concentrate on meeting the needs of the bereaved in the community. I am flexible and responsive to your needs and will strive to provide the service you require. Being a local independent family funeral director, I do not have to abide by corporate pressure to increase profits, while cutting the personal touch to the detriment of the clients. I do not answer to management teams or shareholders; I only answer to you. I know that my success will come from caring and building a relationship of trust and by being by your side every step of the way to guide you through all of the arrangements.

I am able to provide you with a complete funeral service individually designed to incorporate your every need. I will be available to guide you through the process any time day or night. I offer very competitive funeral prices, being a small business I do not have the overheads of larger competitors so I can pass the savings onto my clients without having to compromise on my high standards. I will conduct all meetings in the comfort of your own home or you may visit me if you prefer. I will follow your instructions and offer my advice to make all of the necessary arrangements to plan the service and make the funeral a celebration of life.
